Perbaikan Jalan Rusak di Medan Harus Standard
Sentralberita| Medan~Wali Kota Medan Drs H T Dzulmi Eldin S MSi ingin pengerjaan seluruh perbaikan jalan rusak di Kota Medan dilakukan dengan baik dan sesuai standard yang telah ditetapkan.
Hal itu penting agar kualitas jalan yang baru selesai diaspal maupun dibeton benar-benar terjamin. Dengan demikian jalan yang baru selesai diperbaiki tersebut bisa bertahan lama.
Guna memastikan penerjaan perbaikan jalan rusak, Wali Kota didampingi Kadis Pekerjaan Umum (PU) Kota Medan mengecek langsung pembetonan Jalan Gaperta, Selasa (17/10) sekitar pukul 07.30 WIB. Selain ingin melihat kualitas coran, Eldin juga mau memastikan konstruksi besi yang digunakan sesuai standard.
Begitu tiba di lokasi pembetonan, Wali Kota langsung mendatangi para pekerja yang sedang meratakan coran usai dituang truk molen. Selanjutnya Wali Kota kota menginjak-ijak besi tikar yang telah diikat dan dihamparkan di atas pemukaan jalan. Setelah memastikan konstruksi benar-benar kuat, orang nomor satu di Pemko Medan lalu mengecek kualitas coran.
“Saya ingin seluruh perbaikan jalan yang dilakukan tidak asal-asalan tapi dilakukan dengan profesional dan sesuai standar yang berlaku. Jika ini tidak dipenuhi, saya langsung menindak tegas. Perbaikan jalan yang dilakukan ini harus memuaskan masyarakat pengguna jalan. Untuk itulah tujuan dilakukan pengecekan pagi ini,” kata Wali Kota.
Setelah memastikan seluruhnya baik, Wali Kota kemudian beberapa kali memberikan instruksi kepada Kadis PU terkait dengan pembetonan yang dilakukan. Bersamaan itu beberapa warga yang mengetahui kehadiran Wali Kota langsung berdatangan. Mereka mengucapkan terima kasih karena Jalan Gaperta telah diperbaiki. (SB/husni l)
