sentralberita|Medan~Salah seorang dosen UINSU, Suhari Harahap mengapresiasi tugas kepolisian cukup berat untuk menjaga Kamtibmas dan Konflik di Sumatera Utara.
“Sebagai institusi yang diberi kewenangan menjaga negara dari ancaman dan disintegrasi, apalagi konflik antar kelompok masyarakat baik etnis dan agama,”ujarnya, Minggu (3/3/2019) kepada sentralberita.com menanggapi pernyataan Romo yang akan merekomendasikan pencopotan Kapodasu beberapa waktu lalu.
Menurutnya, sikap Kapolda sangat tegas kepada siapa saja yang mengganggu (baik yang menyebarkan hoaks dan ujaran kebencian) apalagi yang mengganggu kondusifitas Sumut harus kita apresiasi”,ujarnya.
Menjaga Sumut agar tetap bersatu meski berbeda pilihan politik, tapi mengawal demokrasi dengan memperkuat politik anti SARA (suku, agama, ras dan antar golongan) bukan tugas mudah.
Sebab gejala atau indikasi kelompok masyarakat yang menarik garis politik agama dan gerakan ideologi Islam politik semakin menguat, sementara Polisi berada pada politik negara Pancasila.
“Sumut damai harus kita wujudkan bersama. Kita kurangi tensi ketegangan ditengah-tengah masyarakat. Kita rawat terus perbedaan sebagai anugerah Tuhan. Bukan memperkeruh situasi apalagi saling menjelekkan,”ujar mantan sektetaris DPD KNPI Sumut ini.
Jadi perlu menegaskan bahwa kita sedang berdemokrasi untuk memilih pemimpin tapi justifikasi pemimpin yang selalu diperkuat dengan legitimasi agama semakin menguat.
“Kita dukung Pak Kapolda Sumut dalam menjaga Persatuan dan mencegah radikalisme. Dan masyarakat tidak menggunakan cara-cara primitif dalam berdemokrasi.”ujar Pengurus Forum Komunikasi Keluarga Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah Sumut (FOKAL IMM) ini.
Kepada penyelenggara Pemilu harus benar-benar memperjuangkan kedaulatan ada di tangan rakyat. Jadilah Pemilu yang jurdil dan damai, Suhari berharap.
